Got out last night with Kiara golddiggergirl, Abraham and Aaliyah for a 30 minute swing at the park. I saw the ce-cream truck earlier in the day and noticed they rebarked so it was a no brainier. A few more coins to the 2020 tally and looking forward to another free meal in a couple of more outings.

Really need to work on Abraham's positive affirmations as every time I would say it could be a ring or $1,$2 he would say it won't be it's only a bottle cap. But the numbers and tone tell the tale.
Until next time happy detecting

The last couple of outings have been slim pickings but I am getting good exercise doing my 10k+ steps each time and losing the winter tummy.. I can feel my abdominal muscles once again lol.
My car collection has grown so big I will need a second garage.

Two years ago the beaches around here were empty of other detectorists but now every time I go out for a swing there is someone new with an equinox right out of the box.
There's plenty to go around.

Yeah I do okay here, I like to think outside of the box slot because I at least want to get my petrol money. ?

The weekend finds were few are far between, met Maryanne swinging her Nox800 and two others whom I had seen before swinging in the water cut. Abraham came with me and did a total of 19kms walking which is pretty amazing for a 7 year old. Water detecting was good with the low tide but a note to myself not to take Abraham on a night water detect as he got scared at every little noise.
Going out tonight for another water detect between waist and chest height.
The silver ring with the citrine is another skin set stone where it touches the skin, guess is an Indian lost it.

Late night swing produced more coins and a Pandora, crusty silver threepence and silver St Michael pendent.
In the first 15 mins I had $25 in coins, literary 10 or 12 steps beep berp, I thought the more sections I hit the better it'll get but the further I went the less I got. Still a good night and very enjoyable swing.

At the beginning of the night I saw the two paddles and left them, at the end of my dig I found the pingpong ball so on the way home I stopped to pick the paddles up. Kids love it.

Thanks Sandta and Clodmaster... :Y:

Got out late afternoon for a swing with Jacob and Abraham to the same spot as above.
The boys went left along the Beach and I went right.. The first 5 mins was great, the boys got 10c and I had a nice $9.10 coin spill.
Jacobs swing was bad and his whole attitude needs adjusting, Abraham did well using both hands to swing the detector, his eagerness scored him a few $1 coins and his first ring, it's a junker but still a thrill for him.
On the way home we hit one small section of beach which I didn't get around to doing, I thought why nor just swing behind Jacob and do off we went.
Jacob missed the gold ring as he heard a beep but carried on walking lol...
I was lucky to pick it up considering there was a coke can beeping underneath..
The last spot produced a Rams head shilling, crusty silver and a mercury dime, also lots of brownies, just so many targets that I left behind as the clay is a pain and the rocks mixed in even worse, one fine day I will hit it and grab every beeping target, I will also do water detecting there as the light covering of sand over a thick clay means finds will be sitting on top.

Got out for a dig to the same area as above, after two hours Abraham and I had $5 on the board, there was light rain but we were happy to just be outdoors.
We stopped in a spot that I left as lot of targets and was happy to see the tides had removed alot of sand.
Crusty coins and crusty silvers was the theme but some of them are still cleanable I think. Lol
