Hi all
We have been travelling around the country and am now in west Aus and I'm a little confused in the rules here for swinging the detector.
I want to swing at beaches and old sites am I right in thinking all I need is my miners right and I'm good to go I notice the rules say no detecting in town sites does that mean all local parks/ show grounds are out of bounds or am i reading it wrong.

Many thanks
Rod

Welcome to sunny (hot) WA. :sunny:

Your miners right is irrelevant to non-prospecting detector usage here, so go for your life on the beaches. Parks/showgrounds are controlled by local councils - obey any relevant signage or consult them directly to check. Please refill all holes and remove any dug trash.

And have a safe and enjoyable stay in our state.

Ok great thanks so there is no licences to obtain first unless prospecting for minerals?
Looking forward to the heat SA was rather cool most days.
Many thanks
Rod
