Hello!
I recently embarked on my very first fossicking adventure ever to Mt Franklin (VIC), and found some feldspar, possibly a small amount of peridotite and also this one in the image. I have no idea what type of gemstone this may be - as I have only just begun this new hobby. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope these are slightly better. Theres not much on the opposite side, mostly just mineral/rock

I'm going to show my ignorance here, but that looks like slag glass from a foundry.

I also wondered if it might be something like that. If it is natural it is some form of silica (opal or chalcedony), but I am not sure that it is natural.
