inverell nsw

thinking of going up to Inverell nsw in 4 weeks time for 1 week gemstone fossicking at the nearby parks anyone got any advice about transport up there iam coming from Melbourne thanks

Mate most of the fossicking areas are quite a distance out of town, at least 20km. Where were you planning on staying? Some fossicking parks have camping available but only the basics are there (toilets and bush showers) and there is little to no phone reception.

At the caravan parks there is no real fossicking, you have to buy bags of wash.

There are plenty of taxis in town. Not sure about bus services.

I might be heading up there around the same time with some mates, if we do go you could tag along with us from town each day but I'm really not sure when or if we are going yet.

How are you getting there?

About 25km, it's at Sapphire on Kings Plains Rd. You head out of town from Inverell on Swanbrook Rd and it becomes Kings Plains Rd after a few km.

whats the best way cost wise to get there from Inverell taxi bus or hire car

I will be going to billiabong blue a few times too

I don't think busses go that far out of town, really not sure, Google will be your best bet there.
