With the fire dangers in NSW, please be safe out there. :(

With dangerous fire conditions forecast for tomorrow, people are being advised to stay away the Pine forest in the NUNDLE, HANGING ROCK area.

Tamworth Regional Council advises the Sheba Dams Reserve at Hanging Rock will be CLOSED all day.

Forestry NSW has also advised Council that all forest roads in the pine forests above Nundle will be CLOSED tomorrow.

The southern end of Duncans Creek Road will also be CLOSED.

The only road in the area that will remain OPEN is Forest Way, linking Hanging Rock to Nowendoc Road.

Members of the public are strongly encouraged to avoid the pine forests area tomorrow.

?? Catastrophic fire conditions are expected in parts of New South Wales over the next few days and as a result, the NSW State Government has declared a State of Emergency for the first time since October 2013.

To ensure the safety of communities, Rural Fire Service staff will have greater authority to make important decisions and it is an offence to disobey any relevant orders given by the RFS during the emergency period.

The State of Emergency will last for seven days from Monday 11 November.

It has been horrid. Had a couple of family members in affected areas but all safe so far.
