Tullarook area

Can anyone point me in the right direction to go panning around the tullarook area ? It's the only place close to home that may possibly have gold but I'm at a loss for where to go

Do you mean Tallarook in Victoria?

If you are asking about the Dabyminga Creek it's now on the Exempt list. It was legal up until a few years ago. Pretty sure it was due to some disturbed earth and dredging that fast tracked it to make the list :N: on any given weekend there would be up to 20 people having fun. Not any more 8.( it's less than 2km down the track from me and I still see a few who are not aware of the exemption.

Check if Sunday Creek is on exempt list. Although not recorded as a significant producer, I found quite a lot of fine gold along it years ago.

Unfortunately Sunday Creek is a No Go zone too

RM, where can I find that exempt list please?

Seems as if panning is becoming illegal everywhere now. Fill your holes people. Keep your pumps at home :|

Didn't find much down the tullarook way.. maybe I'm just not looking hard enough lol
