My first hunt.

Hi all
Well the last couple of days I have been out using my equinox 800 which I bought a couple of weeks ago and this was the first real go at it
All found at the same park in agnes waters qld.
Has anyone got any idea on the ring all I can get from it is its sterling silver is it trash or could it be vintage?
I was happy with the coins I got i pulled 30 coins out only 2 pre decimal coins 1 penny and 1 Florine but still happy I probably dug 150 targets i was defenatly getting better at reading the ground by the end of it hopefully wont be digging to many more ring pulls. It loves the 1 and 2 cent coins. I also found an American 1/4 dollar.

Also found a small piece approx 12mm round that I'm sure is lead with the number 12 on 1 side and some other marking on the back that I cant make out properly anyone got any idea?

I defenatly have the bug now time to hit up some other areas on our travels.

The ring does look quite old, definitely not trash. I think your other item is a lead bag seal.

Or the LP stands for Landing Place :Y:

I think your right about the lead bag seal I did some research and it defenatly looks like one I had not heard of them before. Is there a way to find out what it may of belonged to or were there thousands of these things back in the day.
