Going through Temora on a Trip up to Port Macquarie just wonder if anyone had any luck there and worth a try also anyone recommend any other stops on the way, Iam also wondering is it worth purchasing the doug stone maps to begin with the research. spending time in Bendigo also?

Hi all,
I'll be meeting a mate in Temora on Saturday and we are looking at camping out to put in 2 days of detecting however I can not find any leads on where to start looking. Has anyone had any luck on the detector out here and where is a good place to start looking. Also, where's a good spot to camp.

I'll be running a Gold Bug 2 and he will be on the GPX4500
Have a look at MinView, it shows lots of spots around temora, the trick now is find ones that aren't on private property ....

You can click on each of those yellow triangles and get a pop up with the details about that mine.
