Gday all,

How can we determine the physical boundaries of current licensed areas in Victoria?

I want to detect near some current licensed areas but dont want to overstep my bounds!

Have you tried Geovic, it shows current licences.

Yeah i have Ben.

I cant find anything re boundaries and how to determine exactly where they are.

I usually look for the nearest peg and start from there, and walk the boundary, a drone has made this process a lot quicker though. Cheers Noel.

Usually posts or pickets with the claim or lease number on every one.

Are you talking about exploration licences? They are clearly and accurately shown on Geovic. You can always ask for permission even then - we usually gave it (it is only required for mining, prospecting and retention licence areas, not for exploration licence areas).
