Made my day. 7000

Hi Folks,

Decided to check out a gully that I pulled a few good bits of gold out of a couple years ago with the 5000. Thought I might use the SDC to see if there was anything left. The small coil allowed me to get into areas that the 12 Evo was not going to touch. Got a very faint signal in under a log. Moved some rubbish out of the way and the signal improved. Decided to film the final stages with the phone as I was sure that it was a small piece of yellow.

You never get sick of the sweet sound of a bit of gold under a coil.

nice bit Les I'm off to Avoca to detect on a mates place !!! 5 Acres !!
Hopefully weather holds hoping to put in all Thursday and friday

Good luck Bigrob. Hope you clean up. Could you take a bag of seed potatoes with you. Every time you dig a deep hole and uncover a bit of rusty steel, drop a spud in. This will ensure that you back fill all of your holes. In three months time your mate will thank you.

Cheers

Les

Back to the golden triangle for a couple of hours sunday on my litle tiddler patch. 13 bits off it so far biggest 1.5 grams.
Have found a few patches lately but nothing great off any of them yet.

Hey NG I just saw this. Awesome collection you're building up, wish mine was like that. I did have some great luck in the GT a couple of days ago using my GPX 4500 with 12" NF attached. Here's a pic:
