Looking for that "silver cigarette holder", I came across this item -
Makes me wonder if it is from the same maker or if it was a common pattern ?

Rare antique Victorian amber Meerschaum silver cigar/cheroot holder+case Chester

Well I took the kiddies to the beach today with the wife and had a play around with the new toy.
Very easy machine the Nox and it performed well.. I did find the multi frequency to sound chattery but otherwise it was great.
The targets were over 14 to 16 inches deep as I had it on Max sensitivity... I managed to get in the water for 15 minutes and dang it was cold but the nox performed well again finding a super deep target. I was very hopeful of a ring but it was some kind of shoe buckle.

Roll on Summer..

Well I got out for a dig late last night to hit the low tide and to give the nox a good testing. For the first 2 hours nothing but trash but that's to be expected with the amount of sand banks. I did manage to get some coinage and each one was a yesss yahoo moment. The depths of the coins were crazy, I won't even guess the average depth.
Hanging out for the summer months...

One other thing was my badazz scoop bending.. Never would I have thought it would bend like it did, too much pressure from rock hard sand. Lol
Until next time happy digging.
Cheers GDA :Y:
