gem fields qld

Hi fellow fossicker's,my sister and i will be at the willow's gem air caravan park from 9/5/19 to 15 /5/19,having a scratch around the area, will be going into rubyvale and sapphire on saturday or sunday showing my sister around and doing the tourist thing,not sure whats open and whats not,any members with any info on whats open would be greatly appreciated,any members want to meet and greet would be great,leave a message and will work out day and times ickshovel: :gemstone: :beer:

sapphire sunday markets may be open now, lunch at the rubyvale cafe is reel good. currently in Rocky fixin up some rattles in the van, then the gemfields

The gem shop beside Pat's Gems is a very good gem display of some very nice stone and jewellery, Sapphire Showcase, if I remember correctly.

Thank's pat will call in and have a look ,if sunday markets open will head in sunday :beer:

forgot about Pats gems, eaten there as well. rsl club has meals now and then. Rubyvale Pub apparently has a good menu,

Yes Rubyvale Pub's grub is good, but don't forget to grab a pie or two from the Sapphire general store, some of the best around and go damn quick so get there early

Note - Tuesday. Grab pie from general store then follow the map to the buried treasure.
