Yeah im in my mid 30's so the cold isn't to bad at times :lol:
My dad is in his 60's and still has a decent crack in the cold water.
The lengths people go to for stones :lol:

Nice stones there Squint. I've been tumbling my unfacetable stones and putting them in glass bottles. Will take a pic and post them when i get a chance

That's a good idea "Firepanther" I would like to see that. Might take me a few years get enough to put in a tumbler. :lol: Lucky I enjoy the hunt so much.

Hi to all.. New to this gem scene my wife and l. Introduction to Sapphire hunting digging four years ago up near Sapphire Ruby Vale.. All up about 13 weeks of digging sieving speckling and meeting some great new friends. Have found bits and pieces, nothing worth shouting about... Till last dig last month. Have some pictures off stones.. Found 3,,, a 27.25,, a 37.3ct and a 47.37 just fell out from around billies over two days.. Looked up on Google how to take or try to take best photos of them,, apart from that have no idea. People I've shone all have different opinions.. Been told 37 and 47 are pombs.. Thought l would sure them. Cheers..

Wow. Im no expert but they show a lot of very nice colour for bombs. What a spectacular green. Id be seeking some more opinions on the bombs because I think there may be some nice gem in there. Congratulations. :Y:

Foxmyister I think the person who told you those were bombs was hoping to see where you chucked them! If I had those I'd be cutting them for sure.
