The last vid my wife had the wireless module on her near the camera, hence the overly loud and sometimes broken threshold. We didn't realise it was too close until we watched the vid. Will remember for next time ! WARNING : F bombs dropped at end of 137 gram vid.

I enjoyed your vids right up until the end of the last one and your foul language and in front of your wife.

I did put a warning on the vid that F Bombs were dropped at the end of the vid, your choice to watch or not watch it Mackka ! thumbsup You get a warning, but still you are offended ?????? sad
Also, not too many females I know that don't drop the F Bomb from time to time, including my wife, so not sure why you are so offended ! sad

Rick

Very nice videos, thank you for sharing. I wish we had a video camera with us when we found some nice bits. The dirt looked defferent to what we normally detect in the west. Well done. thumbsup

Thanks for all the positive responses, and even the negative one from Mackka, can't please everyone !

Dignit : Yes private land that we have been fortunate enough to arrange access to. It has seen a lot of activity over the years, but the ZED got what was left !

Goldtruck 59 : ha, one day you will get to fly it !

Cheers,

Thanks Muk, big_smile

I use normal where possible, even if I have to put up with a bit of ground noise. For quick swinging looking for that first piece I will mostly use general / difficult, then slow down and put it into normal to get those deep ones.

This paddock was broken down ironstone and quartz, so quite noisy, so I was using difficult. General gold setting, but will use high yield where small gold is found.
Sensitivity almost always above 16 ( in this case 18 ) and never use smoothing.

Auto, or semi auto GB. I think my threshold is at 25 from memory.

Basically, I run the machine as flat out as I can ! thumbsup

Cheers, Rick

Here's a pic of the cleaned up nugget, all 68 grams of it removed from the side of the rock :
