Great collection of things there, Silver! Can you clean up that ciggie case to read the hallmarks, or is too far gone to read them?

Cheers,
Megsy

I'll see if it might swing open a bit more for me Megsy... looks like it was in someones back pocket when they sat on a hard chair (recon they liked their icecream a little too much too as well) :p

It's probly just about finished (that spot)
It was just surface rubbish consisting of well broken old bottles that had been dumped (back then) an appropriate distance (50yards) into the bush from the road so as not to be noticed I'd recon.... there were a few mounds here n there of old battery cases too (and asbestos sheeting too).
Most of my coin finds were almost sunbakers or very close to the surface (nothing was really into the real ground surface at all, so it was definitely a dumping ground of sorts).
The glasses were on the perifery of the main glassy spot, and very shallow so not sure if they were lost separately rather than been dumped.
Here's the ciggie case a bit clearer for the hallmarks n initials.

I still can't believe that someone through out a silver ciggie case.... I knew there would be the odd coin or two (no silvers 8.( )
