Who said "there is no gold left in Australia"? Seems like plenty.
"I recall one of their early scrapes with a digger , they took around a 4 foot cut and picked up 11 kg in 2 hours....." Just think a detector operator could have stumbled upon the tip of that on the surface somewhere........

Fosterville has recently been named the number 1 lowest cost gold mine in the world for Q1 based on average all-in sustaining costs (AISC). Mt Charlton south of Townsville was named number 2.
The average all-in sustaining costs (AISC) incurred by gold miners across the globe was $1000/oz with Fosterville being $315/oz & Mt Charlton $484/oz.

This does raise the question then since it's close to the Campaspe river. Would gold be in that river? Can us mere mortals have a chance close by?

Also Axe creek is just to the south of the mine
Both on exempt list be in contravention of miners right :Y:

Good old fosterville ae,
Was sitting in the crib room down the harrier last week.
Bogger driver said to me the place was literally gifted to retards by the hand of god.
He is rather spot on with his comments,
Lots of gold in that core ,
