Too nice to melt

Don't really want to melt this bit so thought I'd have a shot at selling it. If not, into the pot it goes.

Weighs 48.26 gram and has at the most maybe 1/4 of a gram of quartz inclusions in some of the crevises, which will come out with acid treatment and digging with a pin.

$2900 which includes registered post Australia wide.

Is the weight you quote from the result of an SG test or just what the scales say.

Hi RM, no that's what the scales say. The at most 1/4 gr of quartz is my estimation by studying it under a loupe.
S.G. test as of a couple of minutes ago says 47.705 gr of gold which makes my estimation pretty close.
