.925 Silver Ring With Blue Stone Op Shop Find I.D.

My wife found this nice silver ring today at a local O.P. shop and I am wondering what the blue might be,it is stamped MHI (hand done) 925

She paid 50c so I know I am on a winner.

Any idea of the value anyone.

Very difficult to tell from a photo Smo (if it's even real or fake...)
Stones that colour could be topaz, aquamarine, apatite - just off the top of my head...

Could be spinel, tourmaline, quartz to name a few. A scratch test for hardness will let you narrow it down. Nice stone though

Blue topaz likely in that cut, Michael Hill Jewellers. not in their current stock so must be an older one.

Value, maybe $50 if you're lucky, good score for 50c though.
