⭐ Fossil show and tell

Just wondering if anyone knew if this was a fossil or just a rock pls as I am unsure

Location of find? Ie did it come from an area of fossil bearing sedimentary rock.

Looks like a pre-historic cone layful:

At allestree beach near portland

Could be a fossilized fish vertebrae. Looks about the right size and shape.

Found these in some mudstone in northern Tassie on the weekend. Can anyone help ID them.

Perhaps a brachiopod like Spirifer on the right:

Looks more like a broken gastropod

I reckon gastropod as it was in with a lot of shells and sea creatures. Must have been an ancient sea bed. It does look a lot like a pooo though, doesn't it?

Looks like a nautalis on the left , the one on the right looks like a clam or muscle .

My Mate has one 3' long and is squeezed off into a nice little point. Like this one..... I collect a lot of Dino oop: ... It's the shapes that get me.... {) :lol:

Wish We had some good Fossil areas here, as im quite interested in them... I see nice ones at Gem Shows but can't afford the prices that goes with them...
