I believe when people do careless acts like this they should be hit with a substantial fine that then gets distributed to the rescue services involved to help cover the cost!
There is no excuse.
I have a brother-inlaw & a good mate in the SES in the WA Wheatbelt Areas, & some of the callouts they get are for peoples pure stupidity.

on a side note, hope you are feeling/getting much better Jaros.
 
Too many tragic deaths - so sad - particularly kids dying out there.
But some good news rescues too.

If she walked it regularly you think they would have found her by now.Unless she went in a direction that she didnt regularly follow.
 
as you can sort of see from this snip from google maps, its a harsh dry rugged area.
