Been a bit slow on the coins and relics lately, damn work is taking up all my researching time. Been hitting the goldfields up with the QED and seem to be getting the hang of it but managing to avoid all the gold so far :/ One of the spoons came from about 15 inches down in a mullock heap which was unexpected and slightly disappointing! Snuck in a couple of after work swings on the beach for a couple of little silvers.
Found this one on the beach too, looks military and fairly old. Either that or someone was doing some very unsportsmanlike fishing!

The cartridge appears to be a Henry Martini round.

Found a 1919 victory medal the other day. Pretty crusty but still something I love the history of. The other one is a bit off an Edison cylinder phonograph.

Found my number 1 bucket lister on the weekend! I have the greatest respect for everyone who fought to protect the freedom and way of life we have in this country and unfortunately I have no way to find out who the owner is so it will be taking pride of place in the pool room next to my grandfathers rising sun badge.
Got a pretty cool toy gun and a cute little bow tie brooch too. I think the rings might be buggy rein guides but not sure.

that is part of an old spud gun zactly the same as the one i had when i was a kid 200 years ago ....

Yeah, I remember them now that you mention it. You used to jam the end in a spud then shoot the little gooey plug at your mates. Then mum would go off her head at all the little rotten spud slugs all over the place!

Beat my oldest coin by 15 years today. In another mullock heap of all places. Seems like the nox just loves finding coins, even in gold mode. No need to foof it CTX, the dickie juice was falling from the sky pretty hard here today!

Found a few relics over the weekend. Been spending a fair bit of time looking for very little gold lately! There's a couple of bits from an Ansonia mantle clock in there and my favorite is the Eagle pencil Co drawing compass, patented 1903.

Pretty slim pickings in the bush and on the beach this week. Like the little lead toys. Something that was long gone when I was a kid. Least the days are long enough to sneak in a quick sip and swing after work. :beer: ickshovel:

Couple of hours down the beach and park this morning. Pretty happy with my first 925 rams head
