Finally, I have parts powder coated and zinc plated. Now all I need it to work out some spray bars

1968falconxt I have to say thats a very nice piece of work, both 3D CAD modelling & fabrication. well done :100: :Y:
Im a Mech Plant/Machine Designer by profession & im guessing you've done a fair share too hey?

Thanks, I have done a fair bit of equipment design, mainly robotic work cells.

Here is the latest video from last weekend:

I like making things on the cheap but falcons creations are undeniably beautiful and have the moths in my wallet feeling insecure. I would love to see a little 12v bellows dry blower to his standards.

Hey bud,
Whilst its in pieces, have you thought about putting 'baffles' in, like a cement mixer??
It will greatly assist in stratification, and breaking up of material....
Sort of like this????

A reverse spiral instead of baffles works very well in this sort of application, slows the material as it makes it way down the drum.

Congratulations on this great project, like others looking forward to seeing it get dirty.

A decent video this time:

I have just ordered a 4700gph pump. The 3700gph pump I currently use isn't enough. It struggles to wash the rocks in the barrel and supply enough water for the dream mat to work as efficiently as it should

Great looking unit. You are into the fine tuning stage now. Looks like a stronger wash needed as well as the trommel speed could be faster as well.
Just my thoughts.
Should be proud mate. :)

Thanks Jaros.

It is currently running at 13.5rpm. It is a 2 speed motor so I will try it at 19.5rpm this weekend. My new pump had also better arrive by Thursday. I have planned an entire long weekend around washing rocks
