Today I broke

I wont be using dobinson suspension again.

My front struts squeaked so loud from day one that my missus can hear me when I turn into our street and starts doing housework , I complained to dobinsons and they just blamed everything else control arm bushes mate but it didnt squeak before.

Now one strut has snapped in half , just driving on asphalt , I am a certified welder and I can see a weld defect which is called cold lap where the weld stop and start overlaps but the dobinson website says warranty only 2 years on defects so especially based on my previous experience with them denying the noise was their liability , I think I am wasting oxygen trying to get replacements under warranty ?

They are only 3 years old.

I am just glad the vehicle didnt flip when the strut collapsed

Maybe.

But I think one better is to mention they could lose their ADR approval to sell any of their products for use on Australian roads.

I think that would have them oop: in their pants.
