I am very happy with my little camper. Completely dust proof, air conditioned and loaded tow weight is 650kg.
Perfect for solo trips in the wet season.
Also have a coromal 616 for family trips.

How do you find the Jeep Shep? I've always like the look of them.
They haven't had the best rap for a while now.

I will admit that I was pretty worried when I bought it as well. Bought it as there was no other swb with solid axles that I could fit my stuff in.
Mine has been brilliant, have only owned it for 2 years but have done 80000km mostly in the bush for almost no issues. It now has
130000km on the clock and still drives like a new car. The starter died at about 100k and I had a cam angle sensor plug fail.
Genuine mopar parts from seppo land are stupid cheap ( genuine starter for under $100)

Where it excels is in the bush, I have never driven a car that has so much stability on side angles and it climbs like a goat.
I hate getting out of the jeep and into my work landcruiser.

Also my mrs liked driving it so much that she traded her challenger in on a new grand Cherokee with3.0 and 8 speed box.
That car has been outstanding as well and she is currently driving it around Australia for the second time in 12 months.

So in short I am very happy with the jeeps, its just a shame that the dealer network is rubbish however I am happy to maintain them myself and parts are very cheap. There were more JK wranglers built then all the kingswood models put together

Ridge runner, you comment about powdered milk, the biggest thing we found was drinking water when out for 4 to 6 weeks or more and not going into town. Water is what always runs out first. Dry food always needs water ie rice pasta milk ect.
