Hi guys,

I have just finished making some more dry blowers. I have a detailed build thread of the prototype in the DIY section. The new ones are the same, but with a few refinements. This is a large unit and can easily keep 2 fit operators busy all day long. Approx. 1.2 metres high. It is much bigger than a Keene 140 and a bit smaller than the 151.

Due to the very large vibrator fan inside the unit, only a small leaf blower is required. The unit produces a lot of vibration at low blower rpm, so there is low risk of blowing any gold out if you run the unit dry. Basically, one operator can run the unit at a cruisy pace.

Below is come pics and a video I made recently. The video shows the hungry beast chewing through dirt at an impressive rate.

The unit for sale is brand new and is available for pickup from Kilsyth VIC. I can also freight Australia wide at buyers expense.

These are currently retailing for $1,599 and are now stocked in a few stores around the country. I will sell a unit to a forum member for $1,400. It does not include a leaf blower, or 75mm hose. Everything else required is included.

Everything is CNC laser cut and folded steel, and is powdercoated or zinc plated. The hopper is hinged for easy clearing of any blockages that is common with dry blowers. The unit has drop down handles to allow it to be easily moved around site like a wheel barrow

Looks good ....................... what is weight and size folded ? Would it be possible to get a custom build ? Stronger axle and bigger wheels ? The idea in mind is to tow it behind a quad :Y:

Kilsyth you say.
I'm over in Croydon, as I said. Would love to see it in action.
Really interested in one of these, and if I can pay it off over a few months, cash.
That would be great.

You are welcome to come and have a look at the demo one I have. I can fire it up and show you it vibrating but I can't run dirt through it at my house due to the dust it creates and the close proximity of my neighbours. I will be heading to the Golden Triangle in the next 2-3 weeks where you are welcome to head up and see it making a big mess

The top classifying screen is a coarse raised expanded steel mesh. I have not seen any portable dry blowers with actual baffles/riffles on the hopper. Have you got any photos?

If you want to prove my point, when you have dry blown a heap and you have retrieved gold, try re-running dirt that has spilled off the top screen.
Particles of gold trapped in oversize will slide and spill of the end of the top screen when riffles to slow down the flow and break up the clods are not in place.
