Here's a new vid. I do a bit of research into an old detecting find of mine, and learn about the life of its previous owner! My embedded links never seem to work so ill insert a regular link as well.

I find it hard to believe that simply handling and carrying can cause this

I will never know for sure, that's just the closest evidence. Yeah, pretty amazing that it can lose almost all features.
 
I guess that is the best guess, since British coins are the most likely by far (29 mm only gives you a probable date if it is British - there are plenty of other 29 mm coins).

Yeah, it could be a token or a coin from any country... I was just going with the most probable answer. Thanks for watching!
