Gold Monster or Equinox

If gold is your main target, I would go the Gold Monster. However if you want an excellent Relic, Coin machine that can also find gold then go with the Equinox.
I've got both and would actually go with the Equinox but if you are particularly wanting to target small gold make sure you get the small coil as well.
The gold monster is simple and it certainly works on gold but the Equinox is infinitely more adjustable.
It just depends if you are committed to putting in the time to learn the Equinox as there is much that can be learnt although it is also perfectly capable at the default settings straight out of the box.
