Cleanup Sluice - What izit?

I would like to know what exactly a cleanup sluice is. Is it for sluicing concentrates??

Some are used at home for concentrates. Or where heavy black sand is abundant. Or if you have a high banker/sluice that holds a lot of material concentrates at clean up time.
My preference is to pan it off.

They are pretty handy though Hunter when you have tons of black sand and fine gold. That spot I have been working is like that and I found myself just emptying panned off cons that are down to only black sand and gold (and dozens of shotty pellets) into the one pan and just putting it aside for Ron. Still just sitting there, maybe the results of ten outings.
I cant find my Blue Bowl since moving house and had the thought of making a Miller table as a side project.
I think it was Boulders on here that made a ripper from Bunnings items.
