Hi everyone I’m extremely green so please excuse my knowledge or lack there of .... I just purchased my first detector and went out yesterday and got my first taste, I spent roughly 3 hours down at the local beach and found a cheap ring , some money and lots of bottle tops ,lol !
This morning I got up and I’m in extreme pain in my arms and shoulders, is there a way or type of harness to help support the weight of the detector to spread the weight, I see minelab 45 have one but I can’t see where the bungy cord connects . Hoping for some ideas !

What detector? Might be just your body getting used to something different?
A full harness & bungy might be overkill depending on what detector your using?
Something like this may be better:

Or if you carry a bit of gear with you (or would like to - drink, snacks, first aid kit etc.) a small backpack or hydration pack with D rings on the shoulder straps & a bungy may be the way to go?

Everything we use comes from mining or farming.

Yeah you’re right, was just my body reacting to getting up and down and holding the detector, after a couple of days it’s all good!

There’s a mine lab bungy kit for a different model includes the clamp for the shaft , $26 on eBay
