Your pump looks like a 40 psi job ? The clear hose your using will probably struggle and be more like the issue than the clamps . Tightening clamps will probably just cut into hose, plus on a hot day the clear tube will swell with 40 psi. Look at John Guest van plumbing fittings .............. push in connections .............. no clamps :Y:

You could be right Bogger , I dont know the PSI rating of the pump, I do know it is strong ..may have to look at changing it for some thing with a lower PSI rating..
:(
Or just remove the pump from the system and connect the tank via the clear hose and inline tap to a hand pump on a sink that was given to me ..

You can just swap out the pressure switch on top of pump for a 17 psi for example ? This is where pressure should be shown also on switch ?

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Water-P...m=222286485940&_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850
So do i remove one and replace it with the one from fleebay ?

Yes just check switch mount holes are 35 mm apart. Should be as there a universal type pump. Would be good to know what pressure yours currently is ?
Just replaced one as was running pump for a shower without an accumulator and melted the pressure switch............... :8

the pump I have is 40psi so way stronger than I need ..
May have to look at the suggestion to replace the presure switch with the 17 psi from fleabay..
A good mate gave me @ stainless sink and cabinet from a camper trailer he sold and the buyer did not want.. nothing wrong with it and it has all the hose conections and a hand pump included , so I just need to connect it to my water tank and try it out .. problem is where do I put it ???? It was mounted in his trailer on the rear swing out door .. I dont have the swing out door and the front space is used to pack the slide out kitchen unit so at the moment its packed in the storage area under the bed board ..
Might mount fold up legs on it then take it out and use it like that ..

Welded a mounting and attached the gas bottle Sunday..just need to undercoat and paint it when the wind dies down..

NOW ....just Waiting for the next door neighbour to return from touring up North..

Plan to build a wood shelf 1m x 500 x 550, so the camp kitchen can slide underneath inside the camper and it also gives me a place to mount the cig usb sockets LED light switche...

Yeah well we dont like the colour!!!
Can ya change it to a beige or camo type!!!

oh only kidding, looks tops nucopia, gettin close hey.....

Yeah BW
I made a trapeze type stone guard that is suspended under the fraw bar ..still ironing out the bugs but it should work out ..if not ,I'll just make one from PVC Pipe and netting with mud flaps underneath..

Mate ..TBH inprobably could have bought a better newer 2nd hand camper trailer for what I have put into this one.. But its also kept me busy and I have learned a lot doing things my self or helping mates do things, so its been well worth the money spent.

Hahahaha GC
Would be awesome to have a como colour scheme ..
just not sure how it would go with the blue gazeebo beside it for concealment out bush..

Finelly got around to mounting the spare wheel holder I salvaged from the Prado I had for spares.
Just needed to drill 4 bolt holes on the back of the camper and buy 4 bolts from Bunnings ..

Also installed 2 x 600 newton strutts under the bed bed base ..
Then couldnt close it .... 600N strutts are way to strong ..so ended up only using one , which works a treat.. :Y:

Now I just need the next door neighbour to get back from their trip away, so I can replace the warped water damaged bed base with a sheet of marine ply and get him to build me a small shelf in the front to mount the electrical USB cig sockets and switches..
:)

Hope I am not to picky , the cops are out and they have a thing about tail lighs , so have a look at where the tyre sits and the angle to see the lights from the back the roads pirates have a curtain angle for lights to be seen just have a check before the fine.....

They may tend to look more at wheels protruding outside body line more than lights .................. some rubber flares will sort that :Y:

You can get rubber flares from Clark rubber.. Think they have 2 or 3 styles at about $12 per Metre.... :Y: Also saves dirt/mud flicking around and ruining your nice paint job...

LW....
