im from cairns, im still new to prospecting, i started up about 3 month ago. I wasnt sure if it keeps me interested, so i bought an unbranded metal detector (GC1028) and a GP Pointer. Overall id say it was a good starting point to give prospecting a go with that combination, the detector paid itself off and i found a silver earring, 2 three pence, 2 pennies and 4 half pennies. Overall im quite happy that i started prospecting and im looking to upgrade soon to a better detector.
