NUGGET HOT SPOTS closest to INNISFAIL

Hi all! My brother and I are new to the detecting game and nth Queensland for that matter. We love it up here, what we would love more atm is to find our first nugget. We've got minelab 5000, energy, just need a little guidance in the right direction. We tried gilberton Station, but with no luck, but enjoyed the hunt. If there's anyone in the region with some advice, It would be good to meet another fellow gold hunter.

Innisfail QLD is at 3 o clock

Been to a few of these, the jungle has reclaimed the track on most near Russell River, find alot of flour gold. Do u know if any of these are good for pickers, and free to Detect without full scrub? Cheers marksman

pretty much all in national parks i'd reckon. i was thinking of checking out north johnstone river coz it drains all that area. also harvey ck has apparently had gold in it over the years, and nice for a little swim too
