Hi guys just rocked up in Charters Towers and read from Wiki camps App that the Youngs block fossicking area has been maliciously peppered with scrap steel ?

Anyone else heard this ?

Clean up the scrap, and find the golds smile

Will just be a local who doesn't like people coming into the area.

Had a look yesterday, cant see what the issue is ? Standard workings trash bit of fly tipping here n there by the road . Only thing that put me off was the long grass .

Definitely worth a swing in there.

The first of those posts is two years old!

Unless the site is constantly being reseeded it would be clear of scrap by now if people are carrying out the trash. Unfortunately this isn't the first time that detecting sights have been seeded with rubbish targets.......
