Moving parts, fuels and gaskets don't do well long term.
Doesn't look like that trigger mechanism is serviceable/cleanable, one bit of debris and it will feed fuel into that pipe, the thing tips over and way more mess than a std jerry can.

That was my thoughts. To complicated, to many area's a small leak could occur. Diesel not so bad but petrol :eek: . I would not consider it a safe storage can.
 
I would have thought anything which was going to hold hazardous materials would have fairly stringent testing and standards that it would have to meet before production and sale would be allowed.
 
The guy doing the review, does state that he wouldn't recommend throwing it on the back of the quad or similar. There is quite a few things that could fail but :|
