is anyone around the Ipswich area intrested in starting a metal detecting club relic and gold hunting?

Plenty involved to set up and run a detecting club these days, including provision for public liability insurance, which means you will probably have to charge a membership fee to fund the insurance amongst other things.

A fair few detectorists have found it easier to move over to facebook for organising outings and general meets., though don't let that discourage you from developing a local club if you can get a decent number of members together.

Ha 227dick. They resign the contact. Back in August. Got another 2 years out of them. So I'm around every weekend at the pub. Heading to Ballarat this Sunday for 2 weeks the Manila for 2 weeks back early August with a bad back. Hahaha
