Trail riding & Bedrock Busting for Gold

Take a trip with Jeff and Mike as they go on a trail ride up in the Sierras to look for some Gold trapped in Bedrock. This is my first try at making a Prospecting video so hope you like it.

It looks like great weather at the moment and you got something to show for your outing. With little finds like that, it must have come from upstream in the past, so have you tried finding the source, or is there historic mining up there?

Yes this is a spot that they Dredged with Buckline dredges and now is below the Oroville Dam ..

The historic mining area includes a museum in the miner's bunkhouse, the Mohawk Stamp Mill, Bushman five-stamp mill, stables, a blacksmith shop, and the Assay office.
