Nice

Good read though it was over my head.
One thing is they have some old coins there and they clean up good.

Do you guys use the same methods or something different?

Here's how it looks to me

I'm pretty sure I use the same methods 8)

I use a Jewellery tumbler now with stainless steel shot, detergent and water.
No need for chemicals, and they all come up like new. Amazing results, and doesn't damage the coins.

Great for Jewellery and even polishing stones too.

Good luck

PS. I don't use vinegar and salt as that is an acid. Acids eat coins. You get a much better result tumbling.

Fast Australian delivery. $75.
Has not skipped a beat so far and I have used it non stop.

A side note, purchase your own shot from a trusted source. The supplied shot is not stainless, and will rust if not treated. Best no to use it.
I found a place in Brisbane that supplies shop quality stainless steel shot with various shapes. 1Kg was about $50.

There are better tumblers, maybe. There is a dual barrel system by Lortone which is a very popular unit, however, I liked the look of this one, and being able to see inside the barrel.
