Hey all, was wondering if this is epidote? Also what is the black fiberous mineral thats on it? I also found some garnets in the same area. Any ideas would be great. Thanks. Matt?

Looks like it's on some type of schist kind of rock. The green stuff could possibly be olivine as well.
Olivine is the non gem version of peridot. Magnesium iron silicate.
