Very old? Small copper knife blade found at 1860's ruins

I found this old knife blade, whats odd is that its made from what looks like copper. The blade isnt magnetic. Any ideas on this one? Found as deep and next to the 1898 half penny

If it's a Bronze Age relic lost at that time here in Australia, I reckon the archeologists would be pretty interested!

haha yeah i didnt think it could be that old. Could be a form of stainless maybe but the coppery colour threw me off

Marc, sometimes we have to use copper bolsters and copper headed hammers as they do not create sparks. Maybe something used around flammable solvents.
