An attractive light purple-pink amethyst from Queensland, cut in a floral design.

The original crystal was found by myself at Lowmead in Central Queensland and faceted by myself. The stone is completely eye clean without any flaws. It weighs in at 4.6 carats and measures 11.1 mm in diameter.

It is precision-cut with attention paid to detail and is not your standard, mass-produced foreign-cut stone.

It would make a lovely pendant and mounting in a fully-enclosed bezel setting would likely deepen the colour a little.

Asking $130

Cheers all

I am considering regularly offering my work for sale here. I would like to make available affordable, precisely-cut clean gems (with confirmable source of origin wherever possible) faceted by myself in designs that are a bit different from the run-of-the-mill SRB's and ovals that typically come back from Thailand. Naturally, close attention to detail and more intricate designs mean more time and know-how needed to finish such stones.
