I must admit I haven't seen that much Gold in a pan since 1960 at Hill End with my Dad.

Great looking gold. I've looked at going down there but most rivers or creeks of interest seem to be on the exempt list :N:

Hi - not sure how much dirt as its all been panning - havent done a weigh in, will do when I get home

No the biggest gold but its still gold I guess!

Did a bit of crevicing and found a puddle to pan in at Slatey Creek over Easter.

.38 grams, picker went .13.

Few small bits from today:

Not much happening on the detecting front , so I panned out some of the last bag of unclassified dirt taken from south west of Warwick . Cracked my first grammers . The rest of the Gold is in the -20 to + 100 size . Im thinking will need to sluice the dirt , as it will take me a year to pan and seperate the smaller gold. Any ideas would be appreciated fellas . Anyways here are some of the bigger nuggets .







Also I noticed some silver colour pyrite material and silver quartz . I have tested it and it comes up as 99 .99 Silver . Im most likely wrong as im Not a geo, but does anyone know if Silver and gold occur together . I will post pics of the silvery stuff Tomorrow to get feedback.
