These look like the same as the Minelab branded ML 80 Bluetooth headphones, as included with the Equinox 800:

https://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Feintech-...fffaf741|iid:1&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236

Same specs, and even the same hard Shell Case and cables, etc.

These, too:

Would make sense in a way. I don't think Minelab manufacturer headphones as such, I would say they find a company that has something that suits, modify (even if it is just a sticker or logo) and make sure quality check is consistent. Same headphones could come in various branding, but different buyers will get different quality check, depending on what was requested.

Just got home.
About to unbox the Nox.

Oh...and thanks heaps to Corey from Minersden Brisbane. Once again, he is DA MAN, and looked after me.

Anaconda specials on again

Profind 35 $ 169

Equinox 600. $899

Good for the consumer but If I was a Minelab dealer , dont think I would be happy ......

Forum member Buckshot2585 found this today with his Equinox 800, after less than 30 minutes with his new machine. 18 carat.

The magic number was 17, in Park 1.

I found the $2 coin. Lucky me...

Does anyone know for sure if Rodd jewellery is in fact only gold plated, as stated in some places on the internet?

Looked at that link.
Couldn't understand why they were thinking 9ct was to do with gold.
I have been of the understanding that CARAT is for diamond or gem weight, and KARAT is for gold purity.

If its gold, it would read 9K not 9ct.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for that info.

I don't think that ring is plated either, look at the "5", it looks all worn and there is no change in metal colour. Anyway a quick SG test will tell you if it's solid gold or not. :Y: 18k yellow gold is around 15.5sg.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll pass the info on to the tight-lipped pro who found it.
