Does anybody know where to get spare parts for the Racer in OZ?

We carry a full range of spare parts and accessories for Nokta and Makro detectors at Maldon Gold Centre.

We also carry the full product range of both brands.

This is to inform you that as of March 1, 2018:

Racer (or as some people call it, the Red Racer) has been discontinued.

Racer 2 - the wireless module has been moved to inside so the wireless headphones will not require a dongle anymore.

Racer 2 and Gold Racer pricing has been adjusted as follows:

RACER 2 AU MSRP: 749AUD INCLUDING VAT
RACER 2 PRO PACKAGE AU MSRP: 1049AUD INCLUDING VAT
GOLD RACER STANDARD PACKAGE AU MSRP: 899AUD INCLUDING VAT
GOLD RACER PRO PACKAGE AU MSRP: 1125AUD INCLUDING VAT

We will continue to work hard to offer you the best products at the best prices in this industry as we promised in the official announcement of the merger of Nokta & Makro Detectors a couple of years ago.

Thank you all for your support!

If that is so it would be nice to be able to find the accessories such as Headphone adaptor, External battery holder and Waterproof headphones for the Makro Kruzers.

Normally one would just ask for availability by email, but that to is not possible since an email address is not to be found.

The Racer 2 brought with it so many real improvements over the original "Red" Racer, it's worth mentioning them again.

1. New style stock coil, still 11x7", but in the Fors Core/Relic style moulding.

2. Tone Break

3. Iron Audio

4. iSat in the all-metal mode, for a very smooth threshold, which does surprisingly well on gold for a 14 kHz machine (not going to pick up flakes like the Gold Racer or Au Gold), but bigger bits no problem.

5. Notch filter - for times when pull tabs really test your patience

6. Expanded conductivity range.
The old range was 1-40 ferrous, the Racer 2 only uses 1-10 for Ferrous, leaving a much bigger range for conductive targets. This basically provides more "spread" between conductive targets, and allows for finer tuning of disc and notch.

7. 2.4 Ghz wireless headphones (optional) as opposed to Bluetooth on the red racer.

At the new low price, the Racer 2 is probably more in competition with the X-Terra 705, with the Makro Kruzer at $925 going head-to-head with the Equinox 600 and Garrett AT's.
