I have been reading up on seasoning your plastic gold pans and have found many different ways to go about it. From wiping with alcohol to soaking in dishwashing liquid.

Im thinking a soak with dish soap and then wash a few pans of riverstones i have in the garden should do the trick. What do people think?

I notice there are a lot of tiny bubbles sitting on the bottom of the pan when it is submerge. Is this normal or is this the reason to season my pan

Wow, those two guy's were on opposite ends of the exuberance spectrum.
Thanks Houdini :Y:

Will this get rid of the tiny air bubbles?

I like my pan to be rough and scratched up a bit.But if its more effective any other way Id like to know.
Id say Im due for a new one either way!

Rinse aid and water, soak it for a day add some gravel work it like your nervous about loosing the gold and by the time its down to the heavies you plastic should be perfect.
My current pan would be 4 yrs old and probably every 3 months work some cons with rinse aid in the mix and its rare to have any floaters.
