I am always excited to reveal them after cleaning....Some have seen better days but Silver is Silver and I'll take em all. :)

Cleaned as best as I could get it....In poor condition but I love it. :)

I still have some silvers soaking and will post them when they're done.
I went out this morning for a quick swing in the cut, I also wanted to see if Sam and Jess hit the spot and found out they didn't get anywhere near it.
Oh well that was my good luck because I pulled out a couple more silvers, not having a beach scoop was painful because some targets were over
a foot and a half deep or more and digging by hand just wasn't the go so I left them for another day....Still I got some coins so I was very happy.
The only downfall was me rubbing the sixpence too hard between my thumb and index finger which broke it. :(

With any sort of luck more coins will pop up over the next week.... All the best to everyone. :) :Y:

Good idea Silver

My wife was 19 and myself 21 when we met, seems to be the obvious 925 love tokens. Thinking I will have to dive into the thripy collection and make her a set of earrings for our next wedding anniversary.

I think ya just put paper tape across it so the drill stays still when you first start the hole. :D 8)

Well that's just perfect huh....Dunno if it's going to clean up good but I'll see once it's finished soaking. :) Cheers mate... :) :Y:

Ha, yer sure superman ]:D
ya funny

Errrrr I did it again and not happy.... :(

So I went to the cut yesterday afternoon with Kiara - Golddiggergirl but there wasn't much of anything left, I was so sure I left deep targets in there
but not even a bleep/beep beep....
I did find a 1c and 5c coin which had fallen out of the higher banking of the cut.
I walked along one section which had corroded further along the beach and got a nice crisp 36, I scooped it up and saw two coins and I knew I had a silver
a 1c and threepence...
We didn't stay too much longer as I believe someone must have seen my video and noticed the spot then got in and took the loot.
While cleaning the threepence I snapped it. :( Oh well lesson learned be a bit more gentle with the cleaning. :)

Broken and Bent. :(

This one was from the other day as well, I decided not to clean it because I like the patina. :)

The weather forecast for the rest of the week is Hot Hot Hot so there may be some choice pickings coming up.
All the best to everyone and happy digging. :)

My latest beach digs, not a lot going on as it's getting close to Christmas and everyone is saving their pennies, nearly everyone.
The beach huts have been okay but no jewellery.
I love seeing that flash and sparkle glowing in the light of the headlamp, this little pin had my heart racing...

It's only a junker but still a thrill....Also found a cool pendant, well half of one....Friendship heart, not sure what metal it is, rang up as a 44 on the 705
and I was half expecting a Silver ring.

Been so busy with kiddies, baby and also spending time with the wife that the digs haven't been as long as I'd like but with the school
holidays coming it'll be full swinging with Kiara and Jacob... Take care everyone and happy digging. :) :Y:

Well done great hunt. How is your 10.5" coil holding up? Are you still using it in water?
I have just ordered one yesterday for my 705 & can't wait for it to arrive.
Cheers mate Tony.

The 10'5" DD is doing great mate, no leaks yet and it's paid for itself already so if it does eventually leak I will just buy another one... lol :)
And yes I still use it in water.... :) :Y:
