I haven't had a chance to get out collecting gold. Because the spanish mackeral have showed up :party: . So i took a pan down the beach to teach the kids panning. And ended up with no gold but lots of rutile.

Amazing to think that the black stuff finely powdered is used as a white pigment.
 
Hi Steve,

I have a can of gold spray paint you can have. Could make you feel better. Any size in the Spaniards? A few photos would be great. Gold is just a distant memory down here with all the rain. You would need a snorkel and fins to get to bedrock at the moment.
