Interesting find, Noble & Son auctioned one of these -- mentioned it was from the Adelaide Womens & Childrens hospital, maker was Stokes & Son, Melbourne.

Yesterday`s Hunt After work at forbidden park. I have done this park with my Cscope 4zx detector before but I decided give a go with Nexus Bonanza detector. I decided to use small digging too as big shovel I was using attract more attentions. I dug many many aluminium pieces and 1-2 cents and finally found 1950 Half Penny. I bought Black Ada digging tool from U.K. directly. They were very helpful and postage was reasonable. It is very strong well built tool but it need some modifications-> Point is not sharp! serrated edge is on wrong side and not sharpened. So I need grind them.

Found roo pennies and half Pennies and 1800-1900 English half penny and 1946 Florin! My researched spot gave nothing and moved to the other spots for modern coins but found older coins! I am very pleased but not sure why those coins were there.Because place had no histories but just vacant lot.... I guess back in those days people had pockets with holes???

The sparkle was a creative touch to the florin! ;) I guess the coins may have slipped through the floor boards of a house that once stood there, who knows. :)

Ahhhh, Thanks guys! Yeah I was excited as I have not seen Florin for a long time so I was thrilled to find one! :D

Yesteday`s hunt after work! Ranger`s office was across from park( They leave 5:30) so I went deep into snake infested  bush area. But I am glad I did! I do not think those bush area was detected before. I found Pennies, half Penny, a Three Pence and Six Pence! I am very pleased to discover that place.
Soil was very very hard because we had no rain for a while so my welded-twice croc digger has finally had it.

Looks like the GoFind60 is paying for itself.
Ahhh Jaros, those are all found with Nexus Bonanza detector. I have not taken out Gofind60 for a long time now.
Maybe I should go back to it as It has target ID symbols.

It's no shock to me that you are doing so well, The Nexus are Awesome detectors, Back when the GP-3500 came out Nexus came out with the Nexus SE and their cost was very close to what the 3500 cost at the time, My mate over here has the N-SE and they are very deep machines with a medium/fast recovery speed, last year he also bought their latest model but it does not quite has the power of the SE,

That is a fantastic strike rate your having, Big Congrats and keep up the good work, :Y:
