Hi HTY
This looks right up my alley!
I'm and ex climber/mountaineer/cave diver plus used to do a lot of mines exploration and caving in UK...which I miss like mad.
I live in Sydney but (as I don't work) I can easily arrange to come down to VIC for a week or so whenever you plan an outing.
Still got harness/belaying gear/lights/helmet etc but ropes past their safe use by date sad
Anyhow, bear me in mind I'd love to come out and play the VIC mines.
