Addicted to prospecting after buying an sdc2300. In Clermont and found 22 wee ones on my first few days! Totally hooked!

Just returned from a tagalong trip to Mt Hogan Nth Qld.Great time with great people And to top it off found some great pieces! By my standards they are huge?5.7grams and hubby found 6.5 grams. As newbies to this hobby we are chuffed! Then went to Hillsborough Station which hasn't been opened that long. No luck there. Stayed 4 days..dug 444 holes n found rubbish in every hole. Army used it once ...Here's hoping Clermont will open up some new spots soon!

In the bush again! Spent 8 days at Western Creek with a few little nuggets found with the 2300.Heard there was a couple of good finds there though. Headed to Forsythe and detected at Long Gully. Only small one found. Saw a beauty 44gram found in the area though. ..nice find !! Be back next year when its cooler!
