Here in Australia, that lack of representation in Western Australia (the largest state, with by far Australia's biggest area of goldfields and some of the worst mineralisation), will be taken as clear evidence that Nokta/Makro aren't ready for their machines to be taken seriously yet as prospecting detectors. :)

None of the detectors I use or have used have been obtained from a dealer in WA.
As for Nokta/Makro detectors they are easy to get, if not in Oz then from off shore.
Check out the shop branching out modification taking place at Finders Keepers the Minelab dealer in Kalgoorlie.

It's not clear what you're talking about, as their website shows only Minelab - could you please clarify.

Check out or visiting the shop is vastly different from going on their website.

Perhaps the lack of representation by Nokta/Makro in WA is more likely due to dealer commitment issues.

I've run several different brands of PI and VLF detectors in WA including a Gold Racer, but I'm not a tester or in any other way associated with any of the makers, so the real results are only shared with friends around a camp fire.

Its more to do with nokta makro refusing to have a dealer / reseller in wa ... they politely refused me . Saying they are looking into it . To me thats a were not interested in wa at the moment ..

Nokta / makro could have sold well here in wa ...

It is puzzling why they'd leave WA out of the picture. Perhaps a supply/demand issue? Will be taking mine over to WA next chance I get. If it performs well here in SA I know it'll do fine in WA.

There are plenty of Nokta/Makro units in WA....yet no one has ever rang to complain that there not capable of working in WA soil.
It stands to reason....if older makes and models...including the Gold Bug II with its concentric coil can operate in WA soil...than most other makes and models will also.

Apart from the odd patch of ground here there and everywhere...which is the same in each state for most VLF units.

Anyone can now become a dealer...including those suppliers in WA.

Stalker, Nokta Makro DO sell well into WA.....i know this because i ship them over there almost weekly. And you are by far the first to try and acquire a free detector from that state...there have been a few long before your interest.

Now, if your interested in becoming a dealer....give Nokta/Makro a ring or email with a list of stock you wish to purchase, and the name of your shop, pay for the product and it will be shipped to your location...its that simple. Or you could ring CWPS Mudgee and purchase some of the stock they still hold.?

Hello. Could you please tell us who you are and what your business name is?
When did you apply for a dealership? You can email me at [email protected] if you do not want to disclose the info here.

Until recently, we had an exclusive distributor and it was the distributor's job to select and assign dealerships.
Now, we assign dealerships directly and we have 3 that we are currently shipping to.

My first contact with you .Nokta / Makro

I'm interested in being a dealer ,, but I'm not a business , I work in the 4x4 industry in Perth Western Australian,, and I'm looking at working from home as a option ,,,
What are you looking for in regards to being a dealer or agent of your products, ,
Are there consignment options Nokta / Makro are willing to look at ,.......

Big market here in the 4x4 industry in Western Australia .... and none sell detectors .. and this was one option i had as i had a few places willing to sell ..

Hello again. Please understand that I communicate with so many people around the world and I respond to so many posts and PMs on different forums that it would be impossible for me to remember all nicknames or requests instantly. Now I clearly remember though. Last year we had decided to go with a distributor. Now we are assigning dealerships. As you could imagine, we have certain criteria and requirements so we would need more info from you. Please send me an email at [email protected] and I can send you an application form that needs to be filled out. Thank you for your interest!

Hey grubstake, don't be like that. If you are serious about getting an Impact contact Goldhunter in Ardeer,Melbourne.Wendy does the orders. She will be more than happy to send one out to you with a 2 year warranty.I was more than happy with their service. They also do repairs if you post it back. I disagree about the Impact not being able to handle high mineralisation.I have used it in Victoria,s GT without too many problems.Nokta have developed new technology for the Impact called isat.It gives the unit ability to handle high mineralisation and hot rocks in all metal mode and disc. modes. Previously they only advertised it in the all metal mode for the Fors Gold+.I have never been to WA. and don't know the level of mineralisation there but I did detect the head of a gully here at Havelock which had numerous hotspots.I used it in GEN mode and it was more stable than a PI machine near me which was sounding off all the time due to the hot spots.I tried some of the disc. modes and they were also stable. It might not go as deep as a more expensive PI machine but if you fit a 40 cm. coil on it it will go deep on the bigger stuff. However the standard 28 cm. coil may be more stable in high mineralisation.

Hello Dilek from Nokta,Istanbul.I have an Impact and have been using it to find gold nuggets on Victoria,s goldfield for a month. I am impressed by its ability to handle high mineralisation in our conditions. I have searched all websites including the USA ones and seen numerous videos on youtube about which mode is better for finding gold nuggets on goldfields and also what settings to use but everyone is using it for coin detecting and there is no information out there.I realise Nokta have primarily produced this unit as a relic and coin finding machine but no one has posted any information about using the Impact on goldfields, except me.I would very much appreciate any help from you as to what mode and settings are best for using the Impact on goldfields.I have been using it mainly in GEN mode and last time increased the discrimination setting to 01 so as to get a low tone for iron and hot rocks.

I tried to help a lady in Europe recently to become a supplier for a machine manufactured in Australia. They have an agent in a large European country which sells them at twice the price as you can buy in Australia. They flatly refused to help my friend get a dealership in a neighboring country although she is a professional specialising in that field and had many potential orders she could have been filled..It is all rigged for that other dealer to make exorbitant profits without competition. Manufacturers make their own laws and you have to abide with that, you can not dictate to them.In this case I feel it would be in Nokta,s interest to have a competent supplier in WA. but they have to select a suitable one as their reputation is on the line.Any potential Nokta dealer would first have to prove their reputation and ability to market their products over a period of time.

THANK YOU for using our product.
I believe Nenad responded to you on a separate thread.
He would be the best person to answer questions on Impact in terms of recommended settings for Au soils as he was also involved in the testing stage of the product before it was released. Thanks!
